About the epic.HUNT

The idea for this event comes from a concept used at Dreamhack (the DH Game) and itself derived various worldwide puzzle-hunt type games. This particular hunt takes you through a series of purely digital world webclues to lead you to the right answer for each question.

This game is a test of your initiative, knowledge, lateral thinking, puzzle solving, code-breaking and some creative image/sound processing skill.

The game is intended for individuals in terms of the final treasure, but there is nothing to stop you working in groups to find the answers, just the first person to the treasure wins the prize.

The hunt is continuous, but you can stop for a rest at any time, though if you do, there's nothing to stop the other players overtaking your position. We estimate that the hunt will take a few hours to complete fully.

The hunt starts at 12 noon on Saturday 19th November but there will be some teaser questions online Friday night for people to try out prior to the hunt beginning, note that you will have to complete these teaser questions in order to start the main questions.
